Boy Scout Troop 129 of White Rock, New Mexico is chartered by White Rock United Methodist Church.  Serving young men ages 11 - 17 in the Northern New Mexico District of the Great Southwest Council, we are ideally situated to experience the great outdoors.  Our monthly outings include day hikes, car camps, and backpacks, during which the scouts learn self reliance, scout-craft skills, navigation skills, and the benefits of community service.   Meetings are Wednesdays at 7 PM year around (with few exceptions).  During the school year, we meet at Chamisa School.  Summertime meetings are at WRUMC on Meadow Lane.  Every summer during the week of July 4, the troop does a long-term summer camp, typically to Camp Cris Dobbins, council camp of the Denver Area Council.
